How The Survey Works

    • Each employee will choose from a comprehensive and well-researched list of characteristics associated with being a Best Place to Work in Hospitality
    • Then they will use a unique tool to enable them to identify their top six
    • Each individual scores his or her top six characteristics based upon how well they believe their employer measures up
    • Final individual outcomes are calculated and combined with those of your other employees to produce your organisation's total scoring
    • The Caterer and Purple Cubed will use the totals of all organisations who reach the required completions to identify the Top 30 Best Places to Work in Hospitality
    • The top two employers from each list will then be invited by The Caterer to enter the 'Best Employer Catey'
    • These six top employers will provide a written entry about their employment practices based on the 12 stages of the employee journey as identified by Purple Cubed's Purple Plan
    • This supplementary evidence will be reviewed by leading figures from the hospitality industry in order to identify the overall Catey winner. Please see www.cateys.com for further information about the Cateys' judging process
    • All organisations reaching the required percentage of employee responses will receive a link to their confidential online reporting which includes comparisons against peer averages
    • The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence can be entered into although Purple Cubed will be able to advise on the outcomes of your reporting
